Susie Shepardson completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Richmond. Her research at Richmond focused on cognitive aging as well as how emotional memory and metacognition change as healthy adults age.

Susie's current interests are using fMRI to examine encoding and retrieval processes as they relate to emotional stimuli, as well as brain systems related to memory failures.

Susie is from Princeton, Massachusetts, and in her free time, she loves to travel, bake, sing, and go to Broadway shows.
